About
Professor Cem Evereklioğlu was born in Kayseri, Turkey. He completed his primary education in Berlin, Germany, and his secondary and high school education in Kayseri. He earned his medical degree from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine. After completing a one-year program in German Language and Literature in Berlin, he fulfilled his compulsory medical service in Kütahya.
He successfully passed the National Medical Specialization Exam (TUS) and began his residency in the Department of Ophthalmology at İnönü University Faculty of Medicine, where he later served as a lecturer and assistant professor for two years. He continued his academic career as an assistant professor at Gaziantep University Faculty of Medicine for 2.5 years.
Since 2002, Professor Evereklioğlu has been affiliated with the Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology. He was first appointed as an Assistant Professor, then promoted to Associate Professor, and has been serving as a Full Professor since 2011.
